This Daylesford garden studio was built for a client who needed a dedicated yoga and meditation space separate from their main residence. The design balances open-plan living with the practical requirements of regional Victoria — BAL-40 bushfire compliance, R6.5 insulation for cold Hepburn Shire winters, and steel framing rated for the elevated terrain.
Project Details
The owner chose to self-manage the build using our owner-builder documentation package. Steel frame assembly took three days with a local carpenter. AllFoot adjustable foundations handled the sloping site without excavation — critical for maintaining the established garden.

This studio was completed through Hepburn Shire Council with full building permit. Approval took 6 weeks from lodgement. We provided all engineering documentation, energy ratings, and BAL assessment as part of the permit package.
